If it was common enough for the .gov to want to ban them, then it is common enough to be covered under the 2nd.

There is no historical evidence that "machine guns" or full auto was restricted at the time the 2nd was ratified.

I just loved the Al Capone and the untouchables story when I was a kid and I’d love a Tommy gun. I’d even be happy with a semi auto one and a 50 round drum mag and a few sticks for it. Add in the WWII story of using them and that’s my dream gun.

Always wanted to go to Knob Creek, for various reasons I missed it every single time while I lived on the east coast.

Now I'll have to head up to Kingman for Big Sandy Shoot – Largest Machine-Gun Shoot In The World sometime.

Their firing line is 1/4 mile long. That's a lot of civilian owned NFA.

Not sure I'd get a FA, even if the NFA was struck down and the prices dropped from the stratosphere.

Even if the guns get below $1k, my ammo budget isn't there.

I hear the Taliban is a world wide arms dealer now. Perhaps they could send some your way at a discount rate.

I think most of them are rich enough they don't care about the investment losing value, and they're probably going to be happy to see NFA fall.


I'd love to see them all sue the feds over the financial bath they take (because they were forced to buy at inflated prices due to the unconstitutional law).

Would be great to see the entire ATF budget go to reimbursing people their $200 tax (plus interest) for everything registered too LOL.

Ian from forgotten weapons did a video on this with one of the big auction houses leading NFA person.. both agreed that most (not all) people who own machine guns do so not as an investment but as they want machine guns and would 100% be happy taking a hit on the cost (it would actually be very small on many/most of the nfa machine guns) to see the nfa disappear

Why? Because they want more machine guns at fractions of the cost
