Good!Well excuse fucking me I'm taking my marbles home then
Prudence with milsurps is always a good thing. This is one of those things. It could be a never fired rifle but then again you really want to fire it to test it.
Never issued milsurps are a wonderful thing. This actually just reminded me of how i got my first nagant. Maybe 15 years ago. Dealer had them at the middletown gun show. $67. Some were wrapped and some just had the cosmoline all over them. I should have bought as many as he had in hindsight. M44 type.
The Russians had produced these right at the end of WW2 never had a chance to issue them and they got buried in some where-house until they ended up on that table. I remember reading that when issued in the field the troops were told to urinate on the rifle to clean the cosmoline off.
Still have it and it is still in near perfect condition.
I know. What I meant to say is when you come across something like this you have 2 options. Keep it unfired or fire it. It's a tough choice either way. They are in factory new condition once you unwrap them and get all the cosmoline off.
Shoot it, other than the case of irreplaceable historical artifacts, I dont belive in safe queens.I know. What I meant to say is when you come across something like this you have 2 options. Keep it unfired or fire it. It's a tough choice either way.
