And they're coming forward with the potential repercussion of destroying their own name in perpetuity. These sources are career, highest ranking military leaders in this country. Some guy could promote my hypothetical story about trump declaring himself dictator with an enthusiasm that mirrors yours on this story. So who is correct? How do we determine who is correct? For me, the source of any story contributes to my decision whether to believe it or not. New obscure sources need to prove themselves to me. I try hard not to fall into the trap of believing every story I read simply because I agree with it.
