I don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this one. Of course I support it but I think it will be underwhelming especially compared to the one that eventually fizzled out in the country formally known as Canada. Something about letting your enemy know your plans before hand doesn't seem to go well.
Biden is already deploying like 7000 national guard troops in DC.
Certainly hope not. I Don't have any insight as to how big it will be. Maybe someone in the trucker circle here in the U.S. will chime in.

"Freedom Convoy" protesters are expected to congregate in Washington, D.C., this week as U.S. truckers opposed to President Joe Biden's federal vaccine mandates seek to emulate their Canadian brethren.
Bob Bolus says he plans to leave PA on Wed & circle DC: "I'll give you an analogy of that of a giant boa constrictor," Bolus said. "That basically squeezes you, chokes you and it swallows you, and that's what we're going to do to D.C."
The California convoy is being organized by Marueen Steele, who told Newsweek that some 1,000 truckers will begin the trip east on Feb. 23.

It's been a long time since I've been in the "trucking" circle. But I'd be amazed if you can get more than a dozen drivers to actually agree and cooperate with anything

I think a bigger statement would be made if the trucks did not roll. As in every trucker takes a 3 or 4 week vacation at the same time. Save fuel, no one in potential trouble and a bigger statement made when liberal paradises run out of stuff! I do support the movement. At the very least we will see how they react compared to Canada.

I am happy to see this happening. There is nothing wrong with standing up for what is right for other people. There isn't enough of it and this is why we are in the debacle we are in now.

I think he is trying to head off the misinformation and spinning of lies that will inevitably come. It's PR. While I can understand his message, I have to agree with you. The thing is the media and bad pols will do what they do and say what they say anyway. It doesn't matter what the convoy does. They are probably too busy planning how they are going to create another January 6th out of this to watch his statement of intent. We have to stop playing by rules they don't care about.
