Vintage Winchester slugs

So I have this box of Winchester slugs sitting around that I'll never shoot, is there any value to these things?
I don't collect these kind of things, but I suppose I could use them on a range day for fun. I don't hunt with a shotgun any more.

Well, actually funding a radio project lol Was just wondering if anyone knew if there was collector value in these.

I have multiple boxes of these as well that I found in an old tool chest

I dont feel like its worth selling for a couple bucks, all the old stuff I find I want to show to my kids some day. Mainly to joke about the prices.

I found a box Remington 38 specials in my grandfathers old hunting jacket. has a handwritten price tag of 4- on it

I posted the GB auction but have no belief that box is worth anything close to $125. The best thing to do is take it to a gun show, see what the ammo scrounger table sells it for, then offer to sell it to him for half that.

If they are paper slugs then they may have some collectible value to a collector. Otherwise their vale is worth whatever Winchester slugs in 16ga are going for. However, Most retail outlets don't even stock 16ga shotgun shells any more so their value could be a bit higher than say 12ga or 20ga slugs. I have a really nice old Winchester model 12 in 16ga. That shoots like a dream.

I've never had the box open so I checked them out, yup paper cartridges.
Looks like maybe I should look around for the right buyer, this auction for old Winchester .22 ended a couple days ago

To a collector the condition of the box and graphics are every bit as important as the contents. Sometimes, even more so.

Oh definitely, I've seen toy boxes in mint condition go for thousands. Crazy. The outside box with these has a couple rips, but if I separated the 5 count boxes, they are perfect. I think I'm going to make some calls and see where it goes.

i love finding old old boxes like that to decorate my shop man cave .. just don't have the $$$ to pay the high cost on them ..
i just gave my friend a old old old brass engraved decorated door hinge that i found for free to use for there bedroom custom made door
this hinge could hold 200 pounds easy .. the good old days ..

I'd be interested to hear what you find out. I think the fact that all the individual boxes within are in pristine condition will help with the over all value of the small issues of the big box.
