Went to Walmart in Fishkill last night, they still have pistol ammo but it is selling quickly. I got 200 rds of WWB 9mm and 555 rds of 22lr (Winchester) total with tax was $60. Gander World in Kingston has good stock of ammo, prices are ok

The only thing I buy at Walmart is beer, they are by far the cheapest around. I will pay a little more, but I won't support any company that overtly advocates for the abandonment of my God given rights, any of them. FUW! Effing money grabbing, cash before country, billionaire hypocrite's!

Hell I've done that enough times just because I'd had my fill of being surrounded by mouth breathing window lickers and just up and left.
I'm really not surprised that Walmart capitulated so quickly.
think about their business plan:
1) Import cheap chinese junk to sell to people who have lost their jobs to overseas
2) Make those same people be their own cashier, with no discount for doing Walmart's job for them, and have so few registers that people have to stand in line for a half hour
3) Stop them at the door to make sure they didn't "miss" anything while they were checking out, further delaying them and treating them like a criminal
4)...
5) profit! A lot!

Went to walmart last night, they still had full stock and were selling pistol and 223 ammo, but not at any meaningful discounts. One guy walking around had a shirt on that said black rifles matter.

Ummm....we do not debate in order to determine if a statute was effective. We review data to do that. The data available on the AWB from 1994-2004 showed that it did little, or nothing, to affect "gun violence."
Walmart does not gather their board of directors to "debate" at the end of the fiscal year to determine if the company was profitable. I rest my case.

I was recently at a WM asking if they could order me a Marlin lever action in 357.
It was not in their catalog ( nor at a few other places it tried. Most can order a 44 mag though).
The sales associate did say that he could not sell me ammo for it as it is pistol ammo....( unless I had a permit).
I looked at him with that "look"..

Yea that's a Walmart thing. The first time it happened to me (I had a kel tec sub2000 in .40sw way back in the day) tried to get ammo they said need a PP, I said but it's for a rifle they said sorry.
So I asked can I get some .22lr and they said of course, and I responded but I can put that in a handgun, and they just stood there super confused
