Yea that's a Walmart thing. The first time it happened to me (I had a kel tec sub2000 in .40sw way back in the day) tried to get ammo they said need a PP, I said but it's for a rifle they said sorry.

So I asked can I get some .22lr and they said of course, and I responded but I can put that in a handgun, and they just stood there super confused

Funny how that confused look comes so naturally to them.

better prices than Wally on ANY kind of ammo you could ever need, including ultra rare ammo.. Plus they DO ship to NY state, unlike many other online retailers.. I have a .32 acp carry gun, and a box of 50 is about $30 retail locally just about everywhere, maybe just a few bucks less at Wallys, when/if they had it. I bought 500 rounds on Targetsports at $10 a box and its GOOD stuff, Geco from europe that was highly recommended by others that use .32 acp.. Clean, reliable, NEVER a FTF/FTE/misfire/dud, and 1/3 of what I would have had to pay at Wallys.. There ARE alternatives to buying at crazy prices besides walmart... I have bought .22 WMR/.223/9MM/Shotgun rounds/.380/.22LR/.32acp there for much less than Walmart prices. shipping costs are reasonable, and they ship fast, and its still often 1/2 of the money you pay locally . There are other online retailers that sell at good prices, but most will not ship to NY state although its 100% legal to do so.. bob
