I remember when the PPQ first came out. I was waiting to hear about my permit application and I was super interested and almost was my first purchase. Then they dropped the paddle mag release for the m2 and nope not for me don't want it
That would sound to much like them offering the PPS in a compact model
Well now, this piques my interest. I will crosshop one of these with the SIG P365.
It would be foolish to allow the style of magazine release to prevent ownership of the finest polymer striker gun on the market.
I myself wish I had tried the original paddle release. However the button release is large, easy, and fast to manipulate. I have never had the slightest issue with it.

I am also going to continue to try and find a holster that works for me to be able to CC my PPQ without undue printing.
idk the slide just looks soo f*ing tall im pretty sure this will look like a beast compared to the P365
Compared to a Glock the PPQ dies have a taller slide, but I don't think its excessive. The SIG P226 is also known for its tallness but still shoots beautifully regardless. My concern with the P365 is that it is too small. I have big meaty mits and once guns get below a certain size I struggle to hold them securely. That line sits right at the Shield, any smaller than that and I dunno. Also I have concerns with the P365's somewhat unconventional magazine geometery causing feed problems.
i want to both love and hate the P365, and i do love and hate it and could care less about it but also want it
based on size i dont see it being an enjoyable gun to shoot (this translates to shooting it less, which translates to not being as good with the gun so now why even have it)
I won't draw any conclusions till I have one in the hand. I really miss the indoor range in Altoona, they would allow prospective buyers to try out any gun in the shop on the range. But the range caught fire.

,,,,,,,,CLAW,,,,,,, it really does make a huge difference. its not magic but close. i dont remember what company is doing it but not only are they putting the claw on the holster like erryone else but they are adding a "wedge" to the back bottom of the holster that pushes the barrel part of the gun forward (reverse of the claw) both making the gun print less

I had the same issue carrying my PPQ with a StealthGear revolution hybrid holster. I bought a Vedder LightTuck to put in the pocket of my bibs while hunting and thought about trying it IWB for concealed carry. I can carry it in the 3 o'clock position with grip canted all the way forward. This way the barrel is just behind my hip and the grip doesn't stick out like an "iceberg" when I bend over. The grip is at about a 45 degree angle right above my hip. If I remember correctly, the LightTuck cants up to 30 degrees.
