I've read that the as PDP series is modular, so a compact frame with a 4.5 inch barrel or 5 inch barrel is possible. That said what walther considers compact I dont believe is truly compact. If on the fence I would rent one first, as I did. So far the only drawback I've encountered is its lack of red dot plates being included as you have to mail in for one.I've held one before. It was interesting, I think it was a compact size grip/frame with maybe a 5" barrel and slide. It was really an interesting pistol.
The grip in my hand felt great, the ergonomics we're great and high quality craftsmanship.
I keep wanting to get into Glocks next but I've held off this long and the pdp is comparable priced it might be coming up on my radar.
