I get what they were doing but definitely not funny or appropriate esp in the context of training. Rule number 1 never point your gun at anything you do not intend to destroy or kill. Fundamental gun safety violation (yeah, I know he intended to kill innocent civilian for video) and should have no part in anything associated with training. My $0.02.

If you really want to do this drill you need to completely surprise the guy.

The lawyer representing Dickens was on GUNTALK radio a week ago and said when the details come out that all these 'Dickens' drills will have to be updated. Sounds like there is much more to it that people know.
That's how it always is. I wonder what the real deal was? Whatever the situation is turns out to have been, won't change the fact that Dickens was/is a a giga chad.

John puts out good videos - didn't really agree with shooting the "fake girlfriend" but my wife laughed, especially when he gave his reasoning. Who wouldn't go to jail for their wife? (Though I'd prefer an alternative)
The 'Tactical gnome' was hilarious.
I haven't yet shot the 'Dicken Drill' as the distances keep changing. I did do a "FAST drill" the other day (2 to the 3x5 card on head, reload, 4 to chest at 7 yards) - my accuracy is high there but my fastest time was just over 9 seconds.
