Okay, go ahead and re-vamp taxes here in New York. I am all for it. Seriously.
Cut taxes by 10% (minimum), cut fees by about half, and end nearly all the tolls throughout the state.
All the while this is happening, he needs to cut spending. A LOT!
Cut the majority of spending on the poor. Cut spending on programs for citizens that do little or nothing to contribute to society. And the free health care for the poor. I really do not care if they get medical care or their medications.
Stop paying to send the poor to college for free. Stop the majority of Prison Programs. Stop funding the MTA.

He will not cut spending since he sees that as his gravy train to be the next POTUS. He will try to tax the rich and middle class more while giving more to the poor. Also he will try to tax Wall Street more and not give state workers raises and pensions. Just an FYI all state pensions are to be renegotiated this year. Everyone I worked with told me they would say there is a deficit this year since we're planning raises and a new union contract.

Andy Pander will double or treble down on tax and spend. Then he will put in loopholes for all of his rich dummycrat friends and the rest of us will get the bill. He knows that outside the squalid hell holes known as cities in NY, the hinterland counties are red, not blue. Those are who he will target.
This state is doomed. Literally, and liberally. If you are on welfare you get everything handed to you on a silver platter - and all you have to do to keep it is vote democrap. WHY would they want anything to change?

The problem is that no one rewards GOOD behavior. When I went to college, it was because my parents didn't buy big screen TVs. We never went on vacation. Everything was centered around my parents giving us kids opportunity. What did they get for it? I received almost nothing in financial aid. The state just blindly sees savings and says "yup, let's take that off your hands." It doesn't see the circumstance that led up to that point.
Yet, if they had blown money day in and day out, and not had saved much, I would've had far more paid for by the state.
So I ask again, how is that fair that we reward bad behavior, and do not acknowledge of incentivize good behavior? If you reward the irresponsible only, the good men and women if this state will, and do, move elsewhere.

I agree with you my parents till this day refuse to go out to eat and still cut coupons although thank God they are well off to do.
I am all for free education. As long as my Mother and Father who are in their 80's are first reimbursed for all of the college education they paid for my sister and I. Which is somewhere around $110K. And I am reimbursed for my kids college costs which at the moment is in the same neighborhood.
But since we never looked for a handout like these freeloader snowflakes of today, the flakes will never know what it is to sacrifice and be proud of what they accomplish.
