With only five more weeks of regular season play, the NFL is still the object of scorn on social media as fans wonder why stadiums from coast to coast have loads of empty seats.
One fan caught an embarrassing image of rows upon rows of empty seats at the New York Jets’ MetLife Stadium, as the New England Patriots came to town to trounce them 27-13:

The majority of those pics appear to be before or at the opening kickoff. Anyone that's ever been to a game(s) would know that stadiums are always near empty at opening kickoff. Everyone is finishing their tailgating activities and filing in.

If you really want a good idea of actual attendance, you need to take a pic with about 5 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

and if you have ever been to an NFL game, at halftime 75% of the stadium goes to the bathroom and then the bar to get as many beers as they can carry. Because at the start of the third quarter they stop selling beer, so the stadium appears empty

Last game I watched, be it live or on TV was week 1 of 2016. That was Kaperdick's first regular season knee. I WAS a diehard NYJ fan.
I signed off until the NFL decides to take a stand against politicizing a recreational activity I enjoyed and used to view to escape the BS of everyday life. I don't want politics in my leisure time activity. Period, the end!

as anyone noticed, the NFL is TRYING to combat their anti-American image by showing commercials with NFL player working out with Navy SEAL's, Military boot camps and crap like that?

Why not just require everyone on the field stand during the anthem

I have always thought that a golf course would be a fun place to ride the wheels off of a motocross bike.
Hills (natural jumps,) bunkers full of sand, water hazards, etc... Then some beers at the clubhouse.

I met up with a friend at the Southern Meadows 9 hole golf course in Rush.
(I hit the golf ball around a little bit once in a while) I wouldn't call it golfing though... LOL
More like doing something a little different while drinking beers.

Anyways, at Southern Meadows I had the CR 250 in the back of my truck.
It was sooooo tempting... I would have gotten into so much trouble.
It's a good thing I'm not a stupid teenager anymore.

What I hear is that they don't even televise the national anthem anymore. Now it's played during a commercial to supposedly 'handle' the situation. Only hearsay to me since I've eliminated the NFL from my give a shit list.

It IS required for them to stand during the anthem now. They don't have to be on the field, but if they're on the field/sidelines, they HAVE to stand.
