Forgot my challenge targets! It was a perfect day to shoot too, no wind, not too cold or too hot. Oh well I shot some bowling pins to practice for the bowling pin shoot on the 7th of May. I also got to test out a load in my .30-06 I bought some new PPU brass and tried out my standard load -.5 grain in the new brass.
Would have been a really tight group if I hadn't pulled number 4. Still not too bad for a 5 shot group at 100 yards.
This was the first five rounds down the tube this morning. Pretty good for having a cold bore shot in there.
This was the 5 shot group from my standard load with brass that was just anealed. The brass has 6 firings on it and this is the first time I have tried it after having the brass anealed. I may have to reduce it half a grain.
Hopefully Monday is a good day to shoot, I might even remember the April challenge targets.
