Drove down saw the line and turned around & went home ...line was incredibly long and wrapped around the building...Traffic stacked up, etc....Just didn't have time to wait on that line..but glad to see its very popular. News crew was setting up when we drove by.

Went today. I feel like some of the vendors upped the price a little high on some of the stuff. Example; Anderson lower normally 49 bucks plus 20-30 transfer, was 90 bucks. It was fun to look around though.

It was really a last-minute thing. My folks ended up coming down for the weekend so all the sudden the wife and I had babysitters so we just decided to get out of the house in the afternoon. We had no other plans so I suggested the gun show and she was all for it. She's even feeling motivated now for her pistol permit which is cool.
By the way for anybody going today. There are signs up inside the place that say they don't want anybody carrying guns. But there are no metal detectors and the girl collecting the tickets to get into the area simply asked if I had any guns and I told her no.

They make you clear your gun an zip tie though the barrel. They then take your mag until you're done. I lost a .45 round in the clearing bin.

With no metal detectors and young people doing the routine "are you carrying any guns", well at least there were 1000s of people still carrying to protect everyone . Please don't bow to the fool with signs in the future, they mean nothing when your dead...
