Quite honestly, i have never found a deal worth the price of admission at a gun show that I couldn't get online.I wasn't all that impressed by it the last time I went. A majority of the tables are old timers who I think intentionally price there stuff so it doesn't sell, just so they can show up to the next gun show.
If T&T Reloading is there, it might be worth the trip. Assuming you need reloading supplies.
Support Gun Shows, If nothing else too piss off the Anti's!! We just lost the Saratoga Show because of the Mayor and the other leftists on the City council ( A Show that was run for over 30 yrs! ) And yes I know some people didn't like the promoter, Not very fond of him myself. But it was always a good day walking around with friends! And I did find a good deal from time to time, A used but unfired Mini 14 Ranch rifle for $600.00 when other dealers were asking a $1000.00 or more, A Ruger 96/22 that I knew Ruger made but never saw one till about 2 years ago for about 200 less then they were going for on Gunbroker
A hint I found you can get better deals from some of the older guys that have been doing this longer, They Know to fast Nickels are worth more then one slow Dime!!
Sounds like fun.Years ago I brought my then young daughter to the county center show. On the steps we're a dozen protesters of some kind or another. One was an anti-hunting woman who stuck a large color poster of a dead animal in my daughters face and yelled some anti- hunting BS. I kept my cool and we walked around her and went in but this is what Im warning you about. It happened to me, on those steps. And they'll probably be there next month.
Actually the reptile show is very cool. There's a guy that has a whole table full of spiders, Frogs , insects, etc. brought the kids to that show and had a great time.
Guaranteed there's gonna be protesters.....sigh
Are you saying if they sold something they could not do the next show because they would have nothing left to sell thus they set their prices way too high to assure they still have something to sell at another show? That would be ridiculous. I think some dealers overprice their guns because they are greedy bastards - nothing more and nothing less. If I was doing a show, I would try to sell so that I would make enough of a small profit on each to pay my expenses and to be able to restock before the next show and have a little something left over for myself.I wasn't all that impressed by it the last time I went.
