Westchester County Renew/recertify

ok so for Westchester County what's the story for the recertification/renew process for CCW holders? I submitted my application in July 2022 and was Grandfathered in with a ccw permit without having to take the 16hr plus Course. do we have to take the 16+ course upon renew/recertify? I can’t find a right answer to this went on Westchester county clerks site all it says they will mail us a form 60 days prior to recertify.
if I do have to recertify has anyone done the training with ONSIGHT FIREARMS TRAINING, LLC or with Hudson Valley Shooting Sports, if so how are they with the 16hr plus training & last does the certificates have a Expiration date on it cause I’m looking to do it early and get it over with even though I still have lots of time to do it.​

You will have to recertify every 3 years and will need the class unless the laws are changed (unlikely). You are only required to take the class once so it doesn't expire.

All courses with Onsight Firearms Training (OFT) are excellent.

Regardless of your level of firearms competency, you cannot go wrong taking OFT courses multiple times (as many times as you can afford).

I second this. OFT are simply the best.

Cant answer your main queation, but @OnSight Firearms Training is gtg. I need to get some train9ng in with them soon myself.
