New from Dan Wesson is the Dan Wesson DWX.

Looks to be a CZ 75ish/Shadowish frame with a 1911 style SAO trigger and slide.

Designed for Limited (IPSC/USPSA)

And damn is it sexy.. using P09 and P10F magazines.

Witness Elite Gold Team- Tanfoglio

Pretty close to a witness gold team without the compensator, single action, capacity and ergo of a cz75. Wonder if the trigger/ sear/ disconnector is actually a 1911 design or it is hinged at some point in the frame like the CZ.

I am wondering if it is actually the 1911 style or if it is a hybrid of the CZ design with a presentation like the 1911. Cannot tell if the beavertail is removable. If not the 1911 trigger bow design will not work ( no way to get it in or out).

One reason I keep not looking at the TSO is that it takes specific magazines that are about 60+ a pop.

The shadow 2 (what I've been looking at for a while) takes standard CZ75 mags. 20 bucks a pop

And this takes CZ P-09/10F magazines. About 34 bucks a pop

The cut is too low on the backstrap. I am interested as well but I’m not hopeful.

I'm hoping over the next few days more info comes out because if this does actually end up using a 1911 trigger I think I'm sold on what my competition gun will be and just bite the bullet and be the idiot shooting limited 10 minor

But it's not a 1911 style lock up on the barrel soo I'm thinking 1911 parts may be trigger area

To be fair the next gen brno is going to be polymer and have barrels for 7.5 9mm and 10mm with an MSRP of 1,500

MSRP will be $2k. So that begs the question where does the extra $5500.00 come from on the steel model? At that point I'm just gonna get one of these.

Weird thing about this.. I once designed in some detail what I thought a perfect pistol for me would be.. and it's almost exactly this. I mean.. really, almost exactly, down to some minor details (like the rail style) in my own drawings. I never showed it to anyone.. they just read my mind or something. The only major difference is the sight style..well, and the colors.

I'll never afford one though, which is just cruel torture.
