Nice gun. If they made a CCW size without red grips I’d be on board with it.
So they are making a "compact"
The one above is the full size and uses P09/10F magazines (19 rounders) and the grips are standard CZ75 grips (which there is probably half a million aftermarket options, yes I'm exaggerating)
They also offer it in a compact size which uses CZ75 compact magazines (ie standard 15 rounds) and 75 compact grips

ThAnks I’ll check it out now. I’ve been looking for a nicer CCW gun just haven’t been able to make up my mind. Too many options and I’ve been toying with going higher end compact 1911 or staying plastic.
I’ll be 40 next year so I need a mid life crisis gun.
I havent seen the picture of the compact version, but with that taking 75 compact magazines which are everywhere and the 75 compact grips the options are endless.
And really considering the company under 1,800 isnt a bad option

I couldn’t find a picture either but guns America says use the cz75 gun as a format basically. So I’d imagine the same gun the size of the cz75. I’m sure they will offer different colored grips. Anything not so bright is cool with me. I’d prefer the 9mm since I have a few rounds of that laying around and exactly 0 rounds of 40. We will see what they do. I really like this gun thanks for posting it!
edit. They are planning 9mm and seems like they will gear th compact more towards CCW. I’m actually excited about this gun. It’s been a long time since a gun alone excited me. Here’s an interesting article

Yea I get the bright flashy grips as this was originally designed as a competition gun, but what makes a gun great for matches usually translates over to a great carry gun ...
I am predicting that this wont have a grip safety (I really hope it doesnt) and if I am correct because that would be awesome

Shit that’s nice. Weighs less that I thought it would too. That was going to be my out if I didn’t like it. Nah it’s to heavy to carry.
I might just have to pick one up in spring. That’s a nice pistol. I love everything about it. I sure wish I could fondle one. I landscape on the side and that’s where my gun money comes from. I just bought a benelli, some ammo, a browning buck mark, a bunch of fishing gear, built 2 AR’s and some other miscellaneous shit. Ive spent my cap until spring. This fall sucked for landscaping job. Spring I’ll make $1,000-$2,000 per month April, May, June, and sometimes July. I turn 40 in August so it will be my mid life crisis gun.
I was thinking of buying a Wilson combat 1911 or STI sutccato C but I might like this more.

I am actually a little disappointed in 1 maybe 2 parts of the compact
1) my biggest nope dont want this now sadly is there is no rail to add a light.
2) not as big of an issue is it's an aluminum alloy (hence the weight) vs an all steel which would have been awesome but not a deal breaker for me

Well now I just looked at their Facebook page and they say they will have a railed and non-railed option available. That’s exciting. I’d opt for the railed version of I had a choice. Why not.
