Which Glock should I partner a Ruger PCC with?

not to mention with the Glock mags you dont have to worry about if Ruger is going to revert back to their Ant 2a ways and say that us common folks shouldnt have more than 10 rounds and then stop selling anything over 10 rounds.. so have the gun and run it with glock mags it doesnt matter as much

i have one of each.....well, now i have more than one of all but the 34.......i like the gen2.....so now i need to sell my gen3,4 and 5(the new gen 2). but until then i have a stupid number in the stable!

+1 for this..... also never had my hands on a gen 2 (or gen1) would love a gen 1 G17 just because.. and personally loved my gen 3 G17 way more than either of my Gen 4s

to me they are all essentially the same. the finger groves make no difference to me. people with small hands font like the groves. my 34 is a gen 4. works fine. i replaced the trigger. new trigger is great. (original was like 4.5 and not bad). the gen 5 is okay too......just waiting for all the aftermarket stuff to arrive.

they are all just toys. any and all will do what i want.....CCW or comp. i could use all to just about the same degree of competency. obviously the tricked out ones shine better.

FWIW i used a glock mag AR for the idaho ironman match. had 30 round mags in the pistol and carbine. since then i have decided i like the colt SMG mag lowers better and have switched. no big deal really. extra different mags eh......not a huge issue for the game. i never ran out, or had to look for "pistol mags" or the opposite. there is time between stages to reload mags.

if i was "fighting" with those weapons i may go with a common mag.....but if i was "fighting" i highly doubt i would be running an AR9mm. anyway. if i needed a 9mm sub gun it would be the MPX all the way (easily the best sub gun made. but that is an argument for another thread.).

Are you dead-set on a Glock? If either Ruger or a third party announces a mag-well for M&Ps I'll be all over that. I have lots of M&P fullsize mags and only a couple of Glock 19 mags. (bought them on sale, never got a pistol to match)

I'm tempted to pair a Ruger Security or American with the PCC, but again the mag issue..

Additionally there are plenty if reputable aftermarket glock mags that are inexpensive as well

I'm probably going to get the PC Carbine later this year, but I'm waiting to see what kind of aftermarket stocks come out, and hopefully someone makes a magwell for M&Ps.. While the idea of pairing a Glock with it (ala BOB style) appeals to me, I have a lot of M&P fullsize mags, and most of my training has been with various sizes of M&Ps.

Edit: I'm thinking of a Vortex Prism (1x or 3x) scope for the Carbine.. I don't have any experience with it, but I have astigmatism and I hear Prism scopes are less "star-bursty" than Red Dots. Since the Carbine might settle into a "bump in the night" firearm I'd want something I can use without throwing glasses on. Any thoughts? Obviously takes a little away from the slim-factor..

I have the Magpul Hunter X22 stock for the 10/22 Takedown, but it doesn't fit my hand very well. Maybe it's a length-of-pull issue, I haven't taken the time to really diagnose it.

They discontinued my bushnell 1-6.5 ffp BTR2 scope. It has performed flawlessly.

My buddy uses this one:

SWFA SS HD 1-6x24 Tactical 30mm Riflescope

Awesome glass. When i buy another, this is what i will get. @Calculon

Mikey, I have astigmatism too and went to the prism, world of difference, nice crisp dot, no starburst. The Vortex has the dot etched in the glass so if your battery goes belly-up your still in the game, depending on lighting conditions of course.Good luck!!!

Got this scope on a great Black Friday deal (30% off). I have only used it once so far but I really like it. Nice and clear 1-6x. I prefer the more traditional reticle/cross hairs vs. the Vortex ACSS style. Too much going on for me. As I get more familiar with it I'll be able to offer comments.

Turrets are capped @Podmonkey.

If you are looking for a range toy MOS is ok... if for a serious use nope not worth considering.
Here is a good read on the MOS (at the same time the M&P version is actually supposed to be decent, but glock did a shit version)
