Which Is Or Was Your Favorite Gun Too Shoot?

It does not matter if you own(ed) it or not or if yo fired it once or many times; just let us know which is or was your favorite gun to shoot.

I imagine that my all time favorite to shoot was the Heckler & Koch MP5 issued to me when I worked for the U.S. Customs Office of Investigations. That was one heck of a fun gun to shoot without the risk of recoil tearing me apart which made it all that more fun. Add to that the fact that I was given free ammo, and a lot of it, for practice and it was even more of a fun gun.

No longer have it, it was really only good for pissing people off at the range. The concussion and blast would rattle teeth all around.

I miss being able to shoot a real AR. Although I was air wing we always befriended some ground pounders and armory marines. Once a month we would go out and do some running and gunning with free ammo. Miss the good old days.

Rifle - my 1967 Remington 700 ADL in 22-250, it was my dads varmint gun.
to me as a Kid, it was magic! he would shoot and kill ground hogs I couldn't even see!

I just love my first gun. It's so sweet and smooth. It's a model 37 Ithaca 20 gauge shotgun. So fast and good shooting. Sorry I know I'm boring.

Probably the M1 Garand. The contours of the stock, the wonderful sights, the punch of 30-06 and the unique top load-top eject ammo feed with the PING! all come together for a really fun rifle. The AR is a very close second though what with the low weight, accuracy and relatively low ammo costs.

The most fun shooting is hands down MDTS classes whether pistol, carbine or shotgun and I've done them multiple times. If I had to pick I'd say carbine but he doesn't seem to run them in NY anymore FUAC. Gun I like to shoot most is a lowly 22LR Nighthawk Custom 1911 with a Bob Marvel conversion.

Shooting them aside, my 870(s) are probably my favorites guns, the one I got in the 1980s being my favorite all around gun. Still though, the 870s are not as much fun to shoot as was the MP5 but are almost so.

MP5 is nice, very stable gun in full auto. Had a chance to shoot one as part of a multi day familiarization course. Of all the submachine guns I shot in that time I liked the Sterling Patchet the best.

My AR-15 is my favorite gun that I own (sorry) but my all time favorite was my father's Savage Model 99, 300, my brother has it now and it just sits in a closet collecting dust.
