Why would a firearms enthusiast ask that question? Seems mostly like a novelty to me, absolutely so for any non diver. So what? If it tickles your fancy then buy one.

It doesn't even make sense when you think about the physics of it...
When you release the charge, at depth, you take the small amount of CO2 in one powerlet, and half it at 33ft, cut it in 1/3s at 66, and 1/4 it at 99.
Unless you expect it to get trapped in the "deadly predator", and swim straight up, it's a joke on the most basic of levels.
It doesn't even make sense when you think about the physics of it...

Are there not however cetrain species of shark that do see humans as prey? The Tiger Shark for example? They shoot people, its the same. And sharks attacks are pretty rare, and for a shark to consume a human entirely is educationally rare, most sharks do not see us as prey. Sharks while bite things in attempt to determine what a thing is. Bitting for sharks is like sniffing to dogs. Which is also pretty scary.But...guns don't eat people!
It was my understanding that Great Whites generally have no interest in humans at all and are more placid than other species, such as the Tiger Shark. There is a Shark species that does actively prey on humans though, what was it?
