If Trump picks a female, will the Dems make a bunch of fake rape accusations against her?
Actually I fully expect the women-empowering and supporting Democrats will claim she is under the influence of someone else and thus can't make her own decisions.
With all of their other hypocrisies, I completely believe they will essentially shit on their own proclamation of women being equal by saying she's subordinate to "her man".

Barring something substantial and negative coming out most Republicans seem to vote to nominate even if the nomination is not compatible politically. He most likely would have been approved. Not saying I like it but that seems to be the historical reality.

Every or almost every president including Obama has made a nomination when a seat opens up regardless of timing. In fact Obama did this exact same thing. Difference is this time the voters decided to maintain the R senate therefore they have already spoken on this matter and decided by vote to allow this to go through. The opposite was true regarding the senate during Obama’s last year.

What about romney? If nothing else he is quite evangelical and though I don't think he's catholic if this amy person is known for being so perhaps he'll support. Regardless, three can defect and it will still get pushed through with a pence tie break.
I also hope these senators realize as I have (and I'm sure they do), trump is facing long odds in november. This could be his last chance to get a fresh faced republican in the court. It must be taken. It is so obviously necessary, and ignore all threats from the democrats.
