Lawmakers Want Answers ... but never listen to them .. so why ask ..
They don't actually care why, and they probably already know. They are stupid and stubborn. Even if a 100% unbiased report put the blame on high taxes, too much regulation and the rest of their failed policies they will not change. They will run this state and the country into the ground before they admit they were wrong.
They are too blinded by their pompous, full of shit selves to see it.
They don't actually care why, and they probably already know.
They just need to *appear* to be doing something.
Most of government isn't about solving problems as much as it is about appearing to solve problems.
Come on there has got to be at least one mirror somewhere in the capital bldg? Look in it, there’s your answer
How long before Cuomo creates a penalty tax for leaving NY ?
Not a bad idea, and could be implemented. How long before Cuomo creates a penalty tax for leaving NY ?
I could go on, but I won't. I'd have a more productive conversation with my refrigerator, than with elected representatives.
Emphasis on cold beerAnd unlike the elected representatives, your refrigerator actually works for you. It keeps your food fresh and your beer cold.

They already have it. Because I sold my home in NY, and did not buy another one, I was hit with a $2700+ charge payable to NY. One more damn reason I despise NY government, and will NEVER move back there. How long before Cuomo creates a penalty tax for leaving NY ?
Let me count the ways, from a North central NY perspective.
The winter weather means salt and other corrosive chemicals on the road, which turns a perfectly good $40k-$70k vehicle into rusty junk in 7-10 years.
Very limited economic opportunities if you want a piece of the American dream. If you only want to work retail for peanuts and be subsidized by the NYS .gov, welcome aboard.
Constant and ever-increasing infringements of a nanny state.
Income taxes. Sales taxes. Property taxes. School taxes. Gas taxes. All well above the national average. I haven't even mentioned "fees", or "licenses".
Every time you try to make yourself a buck in this state, there are at least 5 hands out looking for a piece of it.
A .gov run by liberals who refuse to oversee a state budget that lives within its means.
