Why do I want a pistol in .357 Sig?

We won a Glock of our choice at a GSSF event way back when. My son said we needed a G31 357 Sig that was Compensated.As he felt that was the most bad ass gun made So thats what we ordered . Its a real nasty round to shoot. Although its not something I carry, its not something I bring to the range often. Its a fun gun to own and bring to the range. I think every one should have a gun of all the calibers just for the life experiences as long as you not spending monies you don't have.

I've been talking to some other shooters that like .357 Sig.

I've got pistols chambered in: 22LR, 9mm, .380auto, and 45ACP.

Why would I want to add .357 Sig to my collection?

I had the XD in 357SIG. It is accurate (with FireDragon match barrel), has low recoil so the return to the sight picture is really quick, and it's easy as heck to break down for cleaning. But to your point - just how many calibers does a person need? That's ultimately why I gave mine to my son. Too many damn calibers in my collection.

Check out the XD. Here's mine in dark green (middle left). I did the FireDragon barrel and I did the Truglo TFO sights. If you do Truglo's, you need the Glock sight removal tool. It works on both of those platforms.
