Most walls have 2 layers of drywall with a nice gap between them....Please do, I would be very interested in the results. To be clear I don't think the round will begin fragmenting right away, but just that it will destabilize after the first drywall layer. If it hits another object side on at high speed it very well may fragment at that point. That's what I'd guess anyway.
If it's got insulation, it's probably got plywood on one side, not 2 layers of drywall, just saying....Phew! No insulation it is.
Bow if i can just get that lazy fuck buell, outta bed, and come hold the camera.
It is fucking 08:38 and he is still sleeping! I need his job.
Bwah ha ha! Now why would you use light bullets for hd? HEAVY. HEAVY bullets is what you want for bigger game.
DOH. (Face palm....twice)
Soooooo. For my movies. What ammo shall i use? 55 grain ok? Good, cause that is what I am using. 35-40 gr is for varmints.
I am too cheap to buy 77 grain ammo.
Besides. MOST EVERYONE has 55 grain loaded in mags. Dont make me come over and check.
So, while this fantasy bs countinues how many pieces of aheet rock am i gonna have to use?
Oh! Pleaee pay attention cause my reloads will ALL be done closed bolt with 30 rounds in the mag.
I'll do you one better, give me an address and I'll pull in his driveway and lay on the airhorn.Call buell. Wake his ass up. I'll PM you his phone number
I though it was Fee-oh-key? The problem with varmint loads is that they are frequently loaded to higher pressures. Thats even more blast and flash to deal with. Also if the round blows up to soon thats no good either. Our troops seem to really like the heavy SMK loads, so thats what I use. I back the 77gr OTMs with M855 for bulk ammo, and for if I want the extra penetration.
This is pretty well done.

Yeah, I don't think they'll punch through a frying pan either. Some are using them due to the fact they "blow up" sooner. I don't but I'm comfortable with my choice and the way my house is laid out.
