Personally, I think these releases are a good thing. We need the disease in our government to be rooted out, one way or another. I also don't believe this would have much impact on what other countries could use against us. We are strong enough and can be self sufficient, we truly don't need the rest of the world to survive if we needed to cut ties. What's the worst case scenario, they attack us on home soil? I don't see that happening and it wouldn't be a good outcome for the aggressor either. We've learned a lot about guerrilla warfare and it's all spilled over to the absurdly armed civilian population. We really should spend less time worrying about the rest of the world anyway, and much more time fixing our dysfunctional family.
Necessity being the mother of invention, they will double down and overcome this easily. But can we overcome an ever increasing out of control government without going to war? I doubt it.
