Its been a few years, but I read the bill many times. I do not recall a section naming specific firearms. They knew they wouldn't be allowed to do that, which is why they banned every feature they could think of, even though they thought a barrel shroud was the shoulder thing that goes up and had no clue.
The more likely scenario IMO ? Suspension/ revocation of permit, confiscation of firearms, plead to a misdemeanor.

If that tweet is real, then the timing is WAY BEYOND suspect. From my experiences with some in the NY Court system, I would not be surprised at all if there is a tremendous amount of arm twisting going on behind the scenes.
I guess we will see if Judge Suddaby has a set of balls on him. Or not.
