@swilliams between the PPS and the Shield, PPS has a better trigger, handles a little better ie easier to control, slightly so, and is a sexy German. Shield is smaller in near every dimension and has an extra round of capacity and is also cheaper. I picked the S&W as I am a capacity whore. It was all those years cooped up in NY that did it.

@swilliams I'd say I absolutely love my Shield. Got mine in 40 so I have 1 less than the 9 crowd, but I still love it. Added a Talon grip and a mag extension for my pinky, and it conceals wonderfully. I have no worries that I'm printing while wearing it with a t-shirt in the summer.

I got to shoot one of my shortlist favorites today a Sig Sauer P225.
This one was an old one. I want the new version with a better trigger, although the trigger was nice on the old one.
It's a bit big and heavy for a single stack nine CCW.

Quit my job yesterday so I have time to start reloading and time to get out to shoot guns I bought and never shot.By the way I went with the Hornady Lock & Load Classic set up, so I have several single stage presses to sell or trade. Mostly Pacific and a cheap Lee Press.
My son flew out here a couple of weeks ago from New York and built my reloading bench and set every thing up for me, I spent an aditional $1200 on reloading equipment while he was here.
My wish list is:
1. Glock 17 for target shooting and to open carry.
2. Springfield EMP 40 caliber just because they are sexy looking.
3. Another Winchester Super X3 in the Waterfowl Package, I bought one and have it at my oldest sons house back East to use for hunting ducks & geese with him.
4. A Ruger Redhawk in 45 Long Colt to complete the set, I have two 44s, a 41 magnum and a 357 magnum.
5. An actual Winchester Gallery Gun chambered for 22 short, I have a 62A chambered in 22 S-L-LR.
6. Two SP101 revolvers chambered in 357 magnum and 22lr, I have a 3" 327 Federal Magnum and a 3" 9mm.
There are others, but these are on the list of must get guns.

Damn @Uzi, you sure have a predilection for machine pistols! Hence your handle I suppose. I had a chance to fire a full auto Scorpion, I belive it was the .32 ACP version. It was actually fairly controlable on full auto, in bursts.

Micro Uzi pistol (semi auto) Very rare.
Yeah - you don't wanna do that. You wanna get a bolt mini on a form-4, then have Vector or someone cut the groove on the mini so the bolt can go into either a mini or a micro. Then buy a few hosts in different setups. Just sold a bolt with host that I had to leave behind in GA. Got a nice profit. You can buy bolts for a good price though now, if you have family in some state other than NY. Like a parent or a kid somewhere. Just put the stamp in their name and shoot it when you visit them. Unless Trump Train can somehow fix these anti Class III laws in NY via some presidential directive that supersedes state law.
