According the Bureau of Justice Statistics: National Crime Victimization Survey Two-Thirds of all rapes and violent sexual assaults occur at night.
This class was designed to help empower women to feel confident in their own self defense no matter the time of day. Each student will learn various low light theories, techniques and mindset to stay safe in the dark.
Topics covered include equipment selection, utilizing night sights, pistol / flashlight manipulation, movement, working from cover and building a tactical awareness using reality based scenarios.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Serviceable Handgun [Minimum caliber .380; 9mm and up preferred]
* Ear Protection [electronic preferred]
* Eye Protection [Wraparound style preferred]
* Sturdy Holster [No serpa, crossdraw, shoulder, ankle, bellyband, soft IWB or purse holsters]
* Minimum of 3 Magazines with pouches [Speed Loaders for Revolvers]
* 130 rounds of ammunition
* Suitable range wear
* Handheld flashlight (Tactical variant with rear push button preferred)
* 10 dummy rounds
* Valid New York State Pistol Permit
OPTIONAL:
* Weapon mounted light
* Concealment jacket
* Notebook and pen
* Lunch / Snacks/ water
