A proposed (marital sex Law) drew a standing-
room-only crowd of mostly (Swingers) to the Woodstock Town Board meeting March 21 as council members attempt to balance STD’s with marital sex. The law, as proposed by Councilman Jay Wenk, would require any person over the age of 12 to only have sex with their married partner in their home in a locked and secured bedroom.
“All people over the age of twelve in the town of Woodstock, whether homosexual or straight or trans will be prevented from any sexual activity without condoms whenever they wish to have sex and such sex must be performed in a locked bedroom,” the resolution states. Violating the law would be punishable by a $500 fine, 120 days in jail or both…
But Alexandra Dubruff, volunteer for New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, said Wenk’s proposal is straightforward and not unprecedented. “It’s basically if you don’t have your urges within your immediate control, you lock it up. It’s really simple,” she said. “Just as we take safety precautions with swimming pools, medicine bottles and seat belts in cars, we must have precautions STD's in our home for the safety of our loved ones, especially our kids.”
