Figure's. I drive a truck and have been hauling the same stuff to the same place for about 13 years and lately I've noticed a BIG drop off in weight. Sunday and Wednesday nights are the heaviest for me and they have been about 15,000 pounds lighter then normal, the other night are comparable. Last week I had one load that barely hit 4,000 Lbs! I can see loads being combined and going to a 4 day work week, while that sounds nice a 20% pay cut doesn't.All is well.

Prices going up fast, his family is describing it as almost 10% a week. They were used to prices rising since sanctions started but not at this speed. They are wealthy so it doesn’t effect them as badly but they are noticing its becoming a huge problem for the lower half. They describe it as 2 levels haves and have nots. Absolutely no middle.

Driving as little as possible. Fill up the truck at 3/4 instead of 1/2. Put more effort into grocery shopping and shopping in general. Every little bit we can save buying things is good. I’ll be curious to see how the tourism industry and places that rely on tourism dollars fair this summer. Especially already coming off 2 shit years. We have one trip to Tennessee planned and we will still be going even if gas is $10. Only thing that would stop us is gas shortages. Otherwise living like the hermit I am.

traveling in a RV, with solar/batteries, we now travel from truck stop to truck stop, we try to keep at least a half tank of diesel in case we come across a stop with no fuel.
We need to come back to NY to open the cabin for the season so it can be shown for sale. We will probably park the RV, and stay at camp for the summer, at least til August. Then we'll see hwere the economy is and whats happening. Then we will make a decision as to were we will be for the winter
