What the hell is wrong with you?! Korean food is awesome!! You wouldn't even eat a nice bowl of bulgogi n' rice if she made it for you?! There was a great place in the ville of Camp Stanley, right outside the gate. They had the best yaki mandu and also great ramen! And of course all the typical rice bowl stuff.
Damnit, now I have a massive craving for Korean food, and I have no idea where I can get any here!

Coooool, I'm headed back to the Buffalo area in 3 weeks to visit family.

@Jaywmustang, had me a real nice Korean dinner last night, breaded n' fried pork cutlet, pickled radish slices (yum!) aaaaannnd some Kimchi, even though I told her not to give me any. She used bok choy to make it though so I had some. Couldn't eat it all though cause its too spicy.

Finally managed to stop by the Asian market and grab some.
Enjoying it with a roast beef and swiss sammich.

I never cared for sauerkraut, haven't tasted it in years so I really don't know. This is HOT. It's made from napa cabbage, seems lighter than regular head cabbage.

Check out the ingredients, some odd combination there.

I talked to the woman that runs the store before, she gave me some good info. Family's in Korea have two refrigerators, one just for kimchi. Depending on your taste she told me people keep it for 5 years or so.

This store sells fresh and well fermented, I prefer the latter, not as crunchy and much hotter.

Find an Asian market and try some, if anything it will keep you "regular" LOL.

My mom has a special Korean refrigerator she uses. It keeps produce longer too.
