Eye balling a full sized XM17. Anyone have one? Thoughts? Also looked at the P365 and I like that too

I have a M17 in my opinion it is no different than my other 320s with the exception of the manual safety.
it also makes sense for you to buy a copy of what you are issued to practice with. I did this with the M16 A2 and the Beretta M9 I was issued over the years. You know the military doesn’t give you enough trigger time to be an expert with any of the weapons they issue.

I have the P320 fullsize with the newer style grip frame, X-Series I think they call it. I like it well enough, I really like the hand feel and the grip texture is great. I'd get P320 over the XM17, the X Series grip feels better in the hand and manual safties on striker fired guns are dumb and they come with SIGs excellent X-Ray sights.

I have the P320 Compact w/ manual safety and the Sig night sights. Manual safety doesn't bother me.
Still getting used to how I have to carry it. My XDS I usually carried about the 4-4:30 position. With the much larger grip of the P320, I have to go to about 3 o'clock. Otherwise, I feel like it prints too much.

I have the P320 compact and my buddy has the M17. Looked at the X series of grip models but decided on the standard series as the X series was too blocky for my hands. The standard grip module fit my hand better. I prefer to carry my G43/G48 as they are slimmer.

Let's just say I don't have the proper body proportions for it. Lol.
I will say that one of my concerns with going from the XDS-45 to the P320 was weight. I use an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck IWB holster for each with a Hank's belt.
Very comfortable for me and barely notice the added weight.
Bought the XM17!
