Spyderco Sliverax. It's a ball bearing pivoted flipper with a compression lock. However the detent is a little too weak for it to fire the blade out like, say, a ZT flipper. However the action is super silly smooth, smoothest I've ever felt.
It works better using the spydie hole for deployment but this small foible doesn't diminish from the overall goodness of the thing.
It's a fairly large folder, Para 2 sized:
Due to the lack of the 50/50 choil like the Para 2 has the Sliverax has a bit more usable blade length. I like the 50/50 choil though. The flipper tab can passable serve as a psuedo choil though it's not ideal, nor is there a thumb ramp or jimping on the back of the blade.
The two are different knives really.
The Sliverax is sexier, more elegant, much smoother in operation, the Para is the more ultilitarian, "tactical" knife.
