I had this exact thing happen to me a while back. I was at the range with a Buddy, and we got to talking about our 'possessions', (keep in mind that he is 1 of my best Friends down here!), and I mentioned my revolvers that I had. When I got done he said; "ya missed one"!! I looked at him like he was crazy, surely I know better than him, what guns I own. I went through them again, and he said the same thing. I told him he was nuts, that's when he replied; "ya forgot that old S&W model 10"! Shit he was right, I don't take either of my older S&W revolvers out much, and forgot about it sitting in the 'other' safe!! He remembered we shot it when I 1st got down here.
YEP, ya may just have too many, when your Buddy's remember what ya have, and you can't!!

The thing they don't warn you about becoming a gun owner is all the extra items... Magazines, holsters, optics, extra maintenance parts depending on your prep level...

What is this to many guns of which you speak? I don't need to put handguns on my CWP here. No permit neede unless you want to carry concealed. It was 7 days from the time I filled out the paperwork, got picture taken and fingerprints and I had my carry permit in the mail. Now I have to keep track of how many and what I have instead of NY doing it for me. No BGC's on F to F deals either.

One of the things among many that really grinds on me is selling MY property to another individual and having to take the transaction to an FFL. I probably would have done it without the FFL but as a result of a garage sale my wife had where a guy that looked like a cop who was trying not to look like a cop, out of the clear blue asks if I had any guns for sale, kept at it for a lot longer than was comfortable and just about when I was going to throw him off the property he left, didn't look at or buy anything, must have been something in my body language, Hah! So, they are out there, I'm sure of it, looking for honest citizens they can fuck over with a felony. Land of the free, HAH! Home of the knave.

I had something similar happen shortly after the safe act turned into law. A guy asking if I had any guns for sale at our garage sale. I said, “your governor made that illegal a few months ago.“

not to get too far off topic..just wanna say... Ive watched that North Woods Law and Crap and I just hate how police, DEC or whatever bait people (Victims)....... they do it all the time...... I can remember an exact instance right off hand but they bait these guys and then try to bust em for any infraction they can.....Goodness........
