I'm quite glad this thread is not what I thought it was. Have fun shooting with the yoots. Though I'm afraid I don't know the Westchester area.

find some state land that is not posted no target shooting ,.. go and shoot and keep lips shut .. paper targets , cans .. just pick them up when done .. no shooting trees .. leave no trace .. .. another option .. FUAC ( FU Andy Como) .. since your new .. Welcome ..

8 year old is tough to find some place other than private land. I know a club right over the border in CT that has a youth program but it starts at 10 years old.

I take my 10 year old with me to my club in Rensselaer county to shoot. Have been since he was seven. No one's ever said a word and I've seen a lot of lil button bucks there as well. Not sure where you're located but around here it's actually emphasized.
