It's almost like telling people for nearly 50 years that life has no value if you don't want it to has had some negative consequences.
2000 years of being "good Christians" didn't stop them from molesting little boys and covering it up.It's almost like telling people for nearly 50 years that life has no value if you don't want it to has had some negative consequences.
Compounded by unlimited raw footage of snuff films and torture videos on the open web.Maybe It is just me but, has anyone heard any media outlet even mention that maybe there is a connection between these teen terrorists and the video games they are playing? I have nothing against the first person shooter games but for a kid in his early formative years with other outstanding issues (family life sucks, bullied at school, etc.) to be subjected to this kind of non-stop violence, it has to have an affect on his mindset. If nothing else it could put ideas in his head and would have a desensitizing affect on his perception of the consequences of his actions.
Ithas been studied many times. No real link. Most people understand the difference between a make believe video game and actually shooting a real person. I played pin the tail on the donkey as a kid, but I didn't take that as a green light to start spearing farm animals with pins and needles.Maybe It is just me but, has anyone heard any media outlet even mention that maybe there is a connection between these teen terrorists and the video games they are playing? Yes the cops are useless and have no duty to protect, but this AGAIN takes the blame away from the only place it lies.
Well, I mean, those kids are already history. No History Regents Tests This Year
In a letter released Tuesday, state Education Commissioner Betty Rosa wrote that officials “determined there is content on the new Regents Examination in United States History and Government that has the potential to compound student trauma caused by the recent violence in Buffalo.” So no history Regent exams, they were going to be June 1, but now, they’re not going to be taking them at all.

The "won't somebody think of the children" of my day was Postal 2.
Here's the thing that bothers me most about a DELAY...
One thing that War has taught us, is that the sooner we can get those who are wounded, to medical care, the better the chance they have at surviving!
So waiting, aside from confronting and eliminating the threat, may very well have CONTRIBUTED to the deaths that occured!!!
Yeah, read that again...
Because we know applying pressure to a wound can help tremendously. We know that an major bleed, clamped can save a life, maybe lose a limb, but still, preserve life!
Delay... Delay has absolutely NO advantage in an active shooter situation. And I'm curious on who wrote what policy or operation manual that would prescribe a delay...
If a squad car came upon gangbangers shooting up the neighborhood, would the responders sit and wait until they were done? Maybe hoping they ran out of ammo? I'm so confused...
Regents is a great way to divert students’ focus from what really matters, SAT.No History Regents Tests This Year

Holy o'fuck,
If this is true, it just keeps getting worse.
There is absolutely nothing wrong about that, I know many of the same type. The point is there are others (notably not many in this day and age) that would want to ccw, and their hands should not be tied. It's a better option than locking the doors and hiding under a desk. She has no experience handling firearms. She is a gentle soul. Much different than my older sister who has kicked off her high heels, vaulted a subway turnstile in a dress, chased down and beat the crap out of a healthy young thug.
I believe there are many people like my little sister. To view them as a problem does nothing to solve the issue under discussion. Not everyone can be a warrior and those that can’t usually very much know they cannot be one.
Somehow we must turn people like my little sister to recognise the benefits of having normal, good people who are willing to step into the breech be armed every day every where.
Thanks, doctor.Also no link.
