The dominoes continue to fall. But I think this is foreshadowing to the fact that this will be more of a local to state enforced thing rather than a respected federal law. I'd still think about moving to a "free" state.
While this is like you said a local not even state case.. the writing is on the wall, and we will be seeing more and more of these decisions coming out in the coming months/years on larger scales
Bill to repeal the PLCAA was also pulled today along with 1808
Unless something changes in the makeup of the Supreme Court, I can see this eventually making it there and being similarly ruled unConstitutional.
Sooner, rather than later, a liberal judge will attempt to declare these infringements as constitutional and it will end up causing conflict in the judiciary. The S.C. will have to step in to make the final decision.
The question is how long before that happens, not IF it happens.

I agree 100% What I'm getting at is that localities or even at the state level they won't respect SC decisions. In the face of the Bruen decision the usual suspects are subverting the decision and doing whatever they want. With that decision how could one even think about proposing magazine/"AW" bans, red flag laws etc?

I think they are now trying to link the bill with “ funding the police” and from what I just heard, they managed to get the “ black caucus” onboard, increasing their votes on the bill
It also potentially sets up confiscation and seizure on a door to door basis
If this some how gets passed, we could be in for a whole shit load of trouble like we have not seen before in this country
The above was just a quick observation and may not be 100% accurate, but in any case they are now confident they have the votes by the way they have tweaked the bill

6 PM Friday: vote to send HR 1808 (so-called AWB) back to committee is not passing which means it is closer to an actual up-or-down vote on the bill.
So far, three Dems have crossed the aisle, and two Reps have. Net one Dem crossing to Nay, which is not enough to send back to committee and generally a bad sign for opposition to the bill passing.
