The dominoes continue to fall. But I think this is foreshadowing to the fact that this will be more of a local to state enforced thing rather than a respected federal law. I'd still think about moving to a "free" state.
Unless something changes in the makeup of the Supreme Court, I can see this eventually making it there and being similarly ruled unConstitutional. But I think this is foreshadowing to the fact that this will be more of a local to state enforced thing rather than a respected federal law.
I agree 100% What I'm getting at is that localities or even at the state level they won't respect SC decisions. In the face of the Bruen decision the usual suspects are subverting the decision and doing whatever they want. With that decision how could one even think about proposing magazine/"AW" bans, red flag laws etc?Unless something changes in the makeup of the Supreme Court, I can see this eventually making it there and being similarly ruled unConstitutional.
Sooner, rather than later, a liberal judge will attempt to declare these infringements as constitutional and it will end up causing conflict in the judiciary. The S.C. will have to step in to make the final decision.
The question is how long before that happens, not IF it happens.
