I’m trying to find a reasonably priced, featureless, detachable mag AR for sale somewhere in the southern half of the state. I want a complete rifle and I want to hold it before I purchase it to test the feel of the new compliant stock. Anyone have any tips for places that have them in stock? Price info would be great too.

Well, I suppose I get the cynicism. I thought about making five or six posts first so it wasn’t my first post, but I decided not to worry about it. If I was a reporter, though, a story about how I asked on a forum where to buy a legal gun, and some people told me, would be a pretty boring story.
I looked at bullet guys website and have heard of him but didn’t see any complete rifles for sale.

Somewhere in the southern part of the state is a little broad. Tell us what county you’re in and I’m sure someone will have a suggestion. @Bullet Guy is a vendor on this board who sells great stuff so he’ll get a lot of recommendations.

Not bringing any guns to NYC. I would go as far north as Ulster ir Dutchess and also out to LI. I prefer in person, in state sale of complete rifle as sort of an extra level of protection against later reinterpretation of the laws. I know it’s always a crapshoot but I suppose it’s a little safer that way.
