If anything makes it infront of the court it will be

21 years old to buy a rifle/shotgun

Next likely
Open carry case from the 9th, and maybe throw in the shall/may issue

Followed by magazine capacity limits

Then possibly one day weapons bans such as feature bans

I would think a lot more of your intellect if you could actually make a coherent logical argument. Some here, who disagree with me, actually do. SCOTUS is not bound by any timeline, but when they start issuing refusals to hear 2nd amendment case one after another, we will get the picture.

It would be much faster and effective taking this to the streets in massive protests and simply show unified and consistence disobedience.

See, one of the Problems that so many have in regards to SCOTUS is that they believe "their" case and "their" fight is more important than others.

Gun Rights, and the lack of them as of late, is not really a huge idea in the Court. While this missing Right in NY State is important to all of us, NY is in the minority of States that have stolen away these Rights. Most States, therefore most Americans, are not as unhappy as we are when it comes to their Guns Rights.

The amount of Gun owners who actually care is very small. Until the lack of Gun Rights hits Nationwide, the fight will remain local and the likelihood of serious change in NY is minimal.

The SAFE Act is here to stay for a while.

Why assume he will need to walk in the middle for a while? I see him staying the course he has been on all along. He has to appease no one he is there for life.

One man is not the court, and he's not in the middle, problem is the court won't take on such a hot button issue! NY is a problem, yes, but it doesn't have a 2A in its constitution. And for the matter, as I've noted, States "IGNORE" scotus rulings regularly, or they get creative to infringe upon citizens Rights, again and again. I've also mentioned how SCOTUS has no teeth, none at all!

Want to put NY, and all those just like it, in its place? Pass a Federal Carry law like Drivers licenses... Done! But it'll never happen, States like NY will fight for their Soverienty! Anyways...

On this Forum, you are correct. Non gun people do not care about the 2A. You have to listen to what Americans are talking about. So many just do not care about it. Hell, right about now, most Americans do not care about any part of the Bill of Rights.

I wish the Gun issue and the Second Amendment were the most important thing in the minds of all America, they are not. By the time this issue becomes important to all (or Most), I fear it will be too late.
