But I wonder what the outcome would have been here if we knew we were going to wake up the next day behind enemy lines?I'm going to modify a line we use in the PA oilfields, when confronted with the good ol' southern boys that came up here from Texas or Louisiana to work them in the early days of the Marcellus Shale boom... "This Ain't Fuckin' Texas". Point being, how it worked down there isn't how it works in northeast PA. Well, Virginia "Ain't Fucking NY". They're hopping mad, and the ire of a few NY gun owners about UNSAFE is absolutely insignificant comparatively. Nowhere in the history of NY has there been even a flicker of general public reaction to gun control measures, that can compare to the state of VA now. Remember, they're reacting to something that has not even passed into law. The general population is also infuriated that a Yankee billionaire and his meddling are a large contributor to the current shitstorm.
I understand what you’re saying. I just think Virginia went too far and if enough people show up in support of it the will make people think before they act.Do you think that if we protested in front of Washington to do away with the machine gun ban, the government will just say,”Ok. Repeal it. The people have spoken.”?
Not being a dick here to stir up the pot. Just being pragmatic. That would work if the government worked for the people.
In Virginia’s case, the government knows that it has turned blue and will continue to turn blue.
I understand what you’re saying. I just think Virginia went too far and if enough people show up in support of it the will make people think before they act.
Also the machine gun is already banned and it’s more than a protest in VA. Many people are standing up saying we won’t abide. What do you think the government can and will do? If the police won’t enforce the law and 90+% of the counties say they won’t enforce it do you think the 10% of other officers can or will enforce it? That’s where the money is at.
Think about antifa the police can’t control them. Cops are a very low percentage of the population. Of the people refuse to comply the police statistically can’t force them to do it.
take my city there are 27 cops for 17,000 people. If 5,000 of those people said fuck you im not complying how would my city handle that? They step back and let whatever was happening happen.
See previous posting I’ve made regarding the police.
My cop thing is getting so old that if I walk in your jurisdiction perhaps in the mall open carrying a Glock with 33 round magazines on my belt, I wouldn’t get arrested. You cannot tell me that I wouldn’t get arrested if you are truly honest. The whole cop thing is getting kind of old Will, it really is.
Yeah, I know you Youtube shop all of the time and you share these videos, but do you know any cop that has done what you are saying they are all going to do?
I know very few cops that are even on the fence over stuff like this.
A local Police Union is actually putting things in place to protect cops from saying no. Large Police union here in NY.
They will not comply until they are sent to your house because a disturbance was called in or if you are pulled over for DWI and you have a full featured AR in the trunk. Most of the LEOs already stated they will NOT comply with the law, so who's going to be making arrests? Even where I live I know Sheriff Deputies and State Police will not make Safe Act arrests, they will turn their heads at noncompliant rifles and mags.
Their livelihoods depend on it. They are not patriots protecting thier freedoms , They are people putting food on the table .
But I wonder what the outcome would have been here if we knew we were going to wake up the next day behind enemy lines?
At my job on a commuter train, they require the conductor to make announcements every few stops that say that backpacks and small packages are subject to random search by the police. Since I’m not a conductor but rather drive the train, I never had to say it.Must be the guys some of you know have much different values than I. I can not let a job, which is replaceable, stand on my values.
My understanding is that the bill will be past into law before the 20th. if not, then obviously nothing is going to happen. IF so , it is an outright open rebellion against the governor and state daring them to their face to confisicate it .It demonstrates that the people hold the real power. Hopefully , that will be enough . it also depends upon how egotistical Northrup is , Will he see the light or press on? If the state police choose to enforce confiscation , they will do so the first few times , but eventually they will run into the Sherriff of Nottingham and his jolly men, The sheriff openly stated they will not allow it to happen in their county's and they are going to bring friends.
MothMan what is in your trauma kit? Not a baited question asking for good reasonPart of my EDC during the rally will consist of concealable soft body armor, S.W.A.T. trauma kit and a G27 with Virginia CCL.

When I picked a run a while back on a train that only had 3 cars with no conductor, I had to make that announcement to the passengers. It burned me to say it because I was now complicit to an unconstitutional act but if I didn’t, I could get written up by a supervisor. No way in hell am I going to risk 18 years at a job and a pension that’ll almost be a yearly 6 figures for the rest of my life for refusing to say some words that go against what I believe in.
Progressive discipline. Something that is just a write up becomes days in the street later if it continues. Would you refuse until you got fired? If so, why do you submit to background checks? Are those morally acceptable to you?Yep money corrupts, so much for the oath you sworn too. So what if you got written up, trying to be employee of the month?
Progressive discipline is being submissive. As for my guns and how I obtained them, that's for me to know. I have had multiple jobs through the years and its what your talent is dictates your path as whether you succeed in life not being submissive to something against your beliefs. That will haunt you if it truly meant anything.Progressive discipline. Something that it’s just a write up becomes days in the street later. Would you refuse until you got fired? If so, why do too submit to background checks?

So you don’t follow rules at work. Don’t submit to background checks. Buy your guns from the back of a trunk. Carry without a license since it goes against your beliefs. Got it. Wish I were like you.Progressive discipline is being submissive. As for my guns and how I obtained them, that's for me to know. honesty countsWish I were like you
The rally is a necessary step, but it will not be the beginning of real violence. And you aren’t understanding what I’m saying.
The government isn’t going to do anything at the rally. It’s stupid to do so. What they have isn’t illegal yet. And even if it passed today, they still won’t do anything at the rally because it’s stupid to do so. Why would the government want a situation to get out of hand? They will ignore it. That isn’t a win for the people.
Then afterwards, arrest one by one just like here in NY just like in the examples I’ve given you that you refuse to acknowledge. At a car stop. When someone calls about an altercation. When gun shops continue to sell banned items. Etc.
Is it?Regardless of what you say, a gun in your closet that you never shoot *is* a lot different from one the government has taken from you.
Yes, because you *can* grab it when the time comes to shoot the bastards. Is it?
Seems to me that it’s no different than if they physically took it from you and then you got another one.Yes, because you *can* grab it when the time comes to shoot the bastards.
The one under FUAC's bulldozer not so much.
Mmmm ....no. Because then you have paid twice. If they haven't paid an ultimate price first. As stated "in the closet." What is it still there for?Seems to me that it’s no different than if they physically took it from you and then you got another one.

I know .....you're going to say no one would dare stand up to tyranny .... right?
What would you do. Lay down and become the welcome mat? Might as will give a little lounge polish to their shoes while your at it.
And that is reality......is it not?
I challenge RULES at work. Have many times, received great results. I wonder if your wife cheated on you multiple times but gave you great sex if you would stay with her? What are your beliefs that mean anything to you is what I am getting at. You can comply all you want but eventually you will be forced in a box.So you don’t follow rules at work. Don’t submit to background checks. Buy your guns from the back of a trunk. Carry without a license since it goes against your beliefs. Got it. Wish I were like you.
