Yep I realize that. Never planned on selling this bike after the motor was done. After it took a year to get the guy to get the engine done I'm just over looking at the bike.
I will consider trades for vehicles or other bikes. No HARLEY OR CRUISER TYPES!
$5,500obo
Here we have an awesome 1973 Yamaha RD350. This has been my project since 2015. Now that it is complete I am offering it up for someone to really enjoy it.
The entire engine was just rebuilt and tuned by Nick @ Vintage Smoke in New Jersey. He was trained by one of the best RD guys...
If you have a new PC carbine and do not plan on using the stock mag that came with it, I am interested in buying it. I'll give you $20 for it. Let me know.
If anyone is going to go glock mags and does not want the ruger mag that came with the gun, I would be interested in it FYI.
I do not own a glock or a ruger and will probably never have either. The ruger mag is very nice and staying with it just puts me ahead from the start.
Do you have a synthetic stock and hate that hollow feeling or would like to add some weight? Get your self some Bondo fiberglass, mix it up and put it into your stock. It adds just enough weight to make your gun not been from the heavy and really stiffen s up the stock.
I just did this...
I just got one last week. Beecrofts in schaghticoke finally got some in. $525.
Target sports in Scotia has been advertising them for $619 (on sale) till they are gone. Lmao
So...I bought this brand new a few weeks ago. It's still brand new never fired or out of the house. I have upgraded the mag release to the Volquartsen extended unit for the 77/22. I still have the box and everything for the rifle. I have decided I would rather have a lever gun instead of this...
I have 250 9mm brass, washed and currently in the tumbler. Gonna load some up tonight. I found a recipe from someone using my exact same bullets and powder.
He is loading them at 6.2grains, 1.120 OAL and shooting from a 4.5" barrel. Average velocity of 1200fps.
I'm gonna load them 6.0...
I just wanted to weigh them because I thought it would be a good indication of maybe an over or under charge. I would think they all would be within a few grains of each other, which 99 of the 100 were. Just trying to be cautious and not have any mishaps.
So...I just pulled that one round apart that was in question and measured it. I was 1 grain short on the powder charge. I was very careful with my measuring so so some might be trapped in the bullet puller or lost between the puller and scale. Anyways I measured the case and it was 108...
I must add that CZ was excellent with service though. When I bought it the mag that came with it was totally broken. They sent me a new one no questions asked and it was here in just a few days. Shame the mags suck so bad because the gun was awesome. I wonder if they have gotten better over...
I had one in 7.62x39. The fit and finish was amazing. It would also shoot moa with steel case at 100 yards. Only reason I sold it was magazines. They really sucked!!! Unrealiable and limited.
If your not going to use it that would be great. I don't want to take away stuff you will use though.
I am actually in the need of some 357/38, 45-70 and 44 mag if anyone sees this.
Yes I have been watching some videos on youtube etc. BTW thank you for the links.
The bullets I have look the same. Just standard 115gr round nose FMJ's.
Tho
I actually used mixed brass on those reloads. Mostly just plinking and seeing what works at this moment.
I did sort all my 223 into 2 buckets. One bucket is anything marked 223. The other bucket is all LC/FC with cross mill spec and 556 marked brass.
It's just plinking ammo. Not looking for super accuracy or anything. I left room at the top end of the charge according to the book for safety. I loaded at 25gr and max is 26.4gr.
Now that I have done my 1st batch of 223, I would like to reload a batch of 9mm. I have a few questions though.
1. I have the Hornady book and it only shows hornady brand bullets. I choose to go with some Berry's 115GR FMJ-RN. Can I use the "COL" of 1.10" for the Hornady 115GR FMJ-RN that...
So I finally completed reloading my 1st 100 rounds. I decided to reload 223 1st and went with a 55gr V-Max hornady bullet. I used 25 grains of varget and an overall length of 2.25". I trimmed all my cases to 1.750" but set my calipers to 1.755" and if the cases fit they did not get trimmed...
So I have been doing a little reading around the web. Seems like unless the case is greater than 1.755, they do not trim it.
What would be the minimum usable case length? 1.73? 1.74?
So...I am working on setting up my case trimmer. Looks like case length for 223 should be 1.750 with a max OAL of 1.760. It's really hard to get it dialed in perfect. If I am at 1.49-1.51 that should be OK I assume? I'm not going for match grade stuff here.
Do you even need to trim all...
That is exactly what it is. I'm not 100% done with it yet as I want to add some shelves to the back and lights.
I only stained and poly the top at the moment because the fumes were too much for winter with Windows closed. Stunk for days haha
I'm currently separating my brass out. Regular bulk 223 stamped brass in 1 bucket and LC/FC/556 mil spec brass in another. Plus sorting all my other calibers.
I will mostly be reloading for bulk in 223.
I will be dry cleaning and using a corn cob plux mix.
I will be washing all the brass I have right now though in the sink and drying it before initial reload. I have a few big buckets full and some of it was collected and unsure of initial condition.
I've been watching YouTube and seen people do things in different orders. Some clean the brass and tumble before they decap and size. That seems to be the best method to me so your not putting crap in your die.
