I’m not ready to blame the gun on this one. Was it a light bearing holster? Those sometimes have a gap where things can get caught. So many cops have said glocks shoot themselves. This was fixed under recall ( I read article Edward). I hope we hear what the inspection says ( not the sig inspectors)

Not in ny! My hk super holds 10 (or 12 in free states). The 255 gr is what I want to use on deer. It’s not that bad in terms of recoil but should thump a deer.

676 energy vs 1078 energy for apples to apples hard cast. That’s a huge difference. It’s not even in the same ball park. I have shot both and an say the 10mm can be fun. The .41 mag loaded hot can be not so fun on the range! Either will drop a deer no problem though.

I was talking about the. .45 super but the acp is a fine choice for just about all self defense purposes. For a guy that carries Fmk like will the .45 is the way to go. Haaaaa

Low end of the .41 mag range. 10mm guns are generally not good carry guns for most. Night stand gun sure, but most don’t want to carry a gun that big. I don’t mind though.

Round nose 158gr was not as effective as modern .38 special and I believe ballistol was around back in the day. Oil is not oil (to a certain extent) different resistance to temp, different viscosity ect. I use Mobil one and ballistol. I might do an experiment and use wd-40 on a gun and run it...

You could get three on a 30 or 29. Some can and some can’t.

To be fair rpd allows carry of a 30 as a duty gun or they did in the past I think.Other depts do also. I don’t know of any that allow 26 or 27 to be carried in uniform on duty. Thanks for reminding me.

The weight would drive me crazy. I use the galco ankle glove. Maybe it’s holster related but that’s all I can stand on an ankle. A 26 would be strange to me.

There are smaller 10 round 45 true sub compacts. Taurus made one years ago and laugh if you want but it was a great gun.
