I got this link for 20% holsters via email. The catch is after a certain number of orders it will be automatically deactivated. Also, it shows up in your cart, not on the site until added...
The action is smoother and it shoots tighter in my opinion on the P229. The trigger is upgraded, or it feels upgraded. Side-by-side the standard vs Legion they feel different. The Legion approaches smooth and breaks cleanly. The P229 almost feels boggy I’m comparison.
This is an n=1 study...
I feel like I’d have to dump as much if not more for a standard P938 to feel/shoot like a Legion or better. I like the finish, but that’s just a preference.
I already put cash aside for this. I’m not a huge fan of the lines but the P938 is a fun gun to shoot, the Legion model probably makes it even more enjoyable.
My two main carries are the Benchmade North Fork if I’m dressed up. Zacudo if I’m doing anything else.
The rest get some rotation, maybe 5-10% of my carry time.
ESEE Zancudo in D2 or ESEE Avispa in D2. Both are less than $50 but both are incredible EDC’s. The Avispa is larger than the Zancudo but still manageable.
I’m stocking up on ammo. Bought 4000x9mm FMJ, 500x9mm Ranger-T’s, 1000x.40 FMJ and 500x.38 Ball. I have about 200 .223 and 100 .308.
Rookie numbers, I know.
Planning on buying another 2000-4000 9mm FMJ this Black Friday if the deals are good.
Looks like a solid fit. I’m 5’8” at 179.4lbs. and the few non-flexing I’ve tried had high friction at my right hip and was unbearable. They weren’t my typical carry (Glock 43, and P229) but they pushed me away from AIWB for a long time.
My Black Arch is great for the $30 but I want a spare mag...
Fair enough. The flex was why I planned to go with Tier1 Concealment. I’m a slim guy, and appendix I’m not very broad so a standard AIWB with an attached mag carrier is a tight, uncomfortable fit.
I should’ve said mag carrier instead of sidecar. I just want a spare mag. I’m not a fan of 8+1 being my reserve. I’d rather (8+1)+8.
Is there a lot of hate on T.Rex holsters on these forums? If so, why?
I’m sorry, but if someone has the draw on you at this range you’re toast. It takes 0.4s for the bad guy to respond and you 1.5s to draw. In that time he may have mag dumped into you.
I’m a keyboard warrior but I’d think it’s best to let them have the car. Maybe during the transition you could...
M&P Shield 2.0 in 9mm currently in a Black Arch AIWB holster.
Definitely looking to upgrade tp a holster with a sidecar. Tier1 Concealment Slim Axis would be ideal.
One of the things folks who play too much Call of Duty fail to realize is the physics. Although you’re not penetrated by the bullect that energy still needs to be transferred, and you’re the “lucky” absorbent pad. The rapid transfer in kinetic energy can still be life-threatening as it may...
