It’s free admission, no reservation necessary. If you want to rent a table to sell stuff, then call the number on the poster for more information or send an email to address on poster.
If you have to buy a pistol and can’t find your preferred brands/models, get a .22LR semi auto. Not as expensive, fun to shoot, good for training. i haven’t been looking so I’m assuming you can find these in stock. Also, try Collector’s in Hopewell Junction for used pistols. I always...
Good advice to send the SR22 back to Ruger. Mine has run flawlessly with all kinds of ammo for 7 years.
For your Shield, you should try one of those pull back rings that attaches to the rear of slide. Makes racking easier and is unobtrusive
For 9mm PCC, you would usually go to the small bore range. Paper targets and steel plates on chains are set at 50 yds. There’s a spotting scope attached to a pole there. Most of the stations have a shooting bench/table and chair. They also provide sturdy wood blocks and small sand bags For...
I inquired from one of the organizers and they said, “not yet”.
There is usually a raffle for a 10/22 going on at DCPA
I’ll be at the DCPA vendor table Sat 12 to 5
I finally bought a Ruger PC carbine in .40 S&W from Collectors in Hopewell Junction. Scott at Collectors mounted a used Nikon Monarch red dot that I had previously bought. I took the carbine to Blue Mountain Sportsmen’s Center to shoot it. Range Officer Jeff helped me sight it in for 50...
Went to Walmart in Fishkill last night, they still have pistol ammo but it is selling quickly. I got 200 rds of WWB 9mm and 555 rds of 22lr (Winchester) total with tax was $60. Gander World in Kingston has good stock of ammo, prices are ok

Please Attend and show support at Fishkill, NY Gun Show at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center This Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-3.
I received e-mail about this show:
We need a really good turnout this time to show the locals that the show is definitely appreciated. The Hotel has...
I’ve seen the Ruger PC carbine in .40 S&W at my LGS, Collectors in Hopewell Junction NY. It comes with same color and stock as the PC 9 that came out last year (but doesn’t have the M-lock hand guard). I also didn’t see the other color combinations that the PC 9 has. Hand guard can be...
I’m wondering if the new Ruger PC carbine in .40 S&W has been seen for sale in local gun shops? I realize the 40 doesn’t come with the MLock handguard yet but I would still want to get one. I already have 4 SR 40 mags
The pistol caliber Ruger carbines in 9mm and now in .40 S&W are very popular and fun to shoot. Cost about $500 -600 in stores. Try and shoot one. Here in NY, we can’t have full featured AR-15s so the PC carbines are a nice option
When I sent my pistol back to Ruger, I requested to pick it at the UPS hub as my home delivery is unreliable (boxes left at other homes, can’t find my home etc). I prefer to pick it up in this manner. The less hands having my pistol package, less chance for it to get “lost”.
Weather was beautiful and tomorrow will be very nice also. Went to the range and had a great time. Shot my Ithaca x15 .22lr rifle with new scope. I had recently bought a new 10 rd mag from Numrich Arms and now have three 10 rd mags for that rifle. Also shot my Sig P938 and Ruger SR40c. I...
This was my first knife that I bought in the early 60s. I could flick it open so it acted like a switchblade. It was flat and easy to carry. I didn’t know it was a Wehrmacht knife
The Thai army bases usually have pistol ranges. I have been invited to shoot by Thai friends with army connections. I wasn’t able to set it up due to travel plans. Make some acquaintances with army officers, the bases are like country clubs
I like the 365 also. If I didn’t already have a couple of great carry guns, I’d buy it right now. I believe as it’s proving itself very popular and reliable that Sig will soon introduce it with different looks/finishes like: SAS, Scorpion, Equinox, Nightmare, Extreme etc
I have shot my pistols at Blue Mountain and it’s a nice facility (public). Walt, the pistol range RSO, is very helpful.
I usually went on a Thursday or Friday cause I felt weekends would be crowded. Good suggestions to get there early and also to pay for 2 hours. You will want to take your...
They had one on display at Collector’s in Hopewell Junction this week. Felt real nice, takedown was very easy and secure. I am still waiting for it to come out in .40 S&W as I already have 5 mags
