@Podmonkey my phone fits in my right pocket with that knife and pocket shield just fine. My left pocket is reserved for my shield and ID. Keys are clipped to a belt loop.
New EDC knife. Spyderco Delica 4. Razor sharp, good lock up, fits great. I carry it on the Raven Concealment Systems pocket shield designed by Chris Fry over at MDTS . The knife disappears in your pocket.
How about a dot torture drill challenge? I shot this today from 3 yards with my duty weapon which is a Glock 19 with a 12 lb trigger from my duty rig. It looks like I need some work on my trigger control with my support hand. Anyway, print the target and shoot it from 3 yards and post a pic...
Next Level Training is running a really good sale on SIRT Pistols. You can get a SIRT, 3 mags, pistol case, shooting glasses and a t-shirt for $239. The SIRT is the best investment in a training aid I have ever made and I'm sure others on this forum who have them will say the same. Here is the...
Guys I have a buddy who is new to guns and Gander Mountain sold him the wrong ammo. It's 130 gr Remington +p .38 Super. He would like to either sell the box of 50 for $30 or do a 1 for 1 trade of a box of 50 .357 or .38 SPC. Will do FTF in Ulster County.
Come up with a dry practice routine and focus on doing "The Wall Drill" and do it slow and perfect. The wall drill is probably the best dry practice drill you can do. Perfect practice makes perfect. This way you can get over this hump without blowing through ammo.
I am so sick of people saying a vote for anybody else but Trump is a vote for Clinton...Why do people automatically assume my vote is Trump's and if I don't vote for him I am taking it away from him? It's MY vote. Not Trump's. Not Clinton's. Not Johnson's. Not Stein's. It's MY vote to give to...
I have heard that My Patriot Supply has pretty low calories when compared to the other companies. I hear them advertised on The Glenn Beck Program. Their 1 month supply is not nearly enough when it comes to calories.
I'm on board with @fnfalguy. It would take A LOT to get me to bug out. All other options have to be gone. I see it as an absolute last resort. Even if I did but out, it would be to a family members' home not far from the city and I sure as hell would be packing my truck full of whatever could...
I have 6,000 CCI 300 large pistol primers I would like to trade for 6,000 CCI 500 pistol primers.
I also have 1,000 230 gr plated .45 bullets from X-Treme Bullets and 500 plated .45 230 gr bullets from HSM. Willing to do a 1 for 1 for 115 gr plated 9mm.
I am located in Dutchess and will only...
The wife and I are looking into getting a couple of months worth of de-hydrated food. Nothing fancy. Just food to get us through a disaster, civil unrest, etc... I have been looking at a few options and have ran across a few companies. Does anybody have any experience with this stuff? What...
I wake up and hit the SIRT for about 2 minutes doing press out and trigger press reps. Dry practice with the SIRT and spare Glock 19 for about 10 minutes each evening doing various drills. 100 rounds of live fire doing various drills every week.
I do the occasional class throughout the year...
I am just curious if anybody else uses a SIRT pistol for training in volume. I use mine just about every day. Does anybody else use one? If so what are your thoughts? I for one would recommend one to anybody who wants to elevate their skill level. I have seen a drastic improvement over the past...
I change mine out once a year. We aren't issued ammo but when we qualify we shoot their ammo. It's on us to rotate it. I shoot mine off once or twice a year and then load up fresh ammo.
We are only authorized to carry the Glock 19 on duty and the 19 or 26 off duty. I choose to carry the 19 off duty and this is one of he big reasons why.
Now that you say that, I do recall Tom Gresham interviewing people from Alien Gear Holsters and mentioning Bigfoot Gun Belts as a sister company. I have one and I LOVE it!
Nice. I did my morning routine and then this afternoon I did 50 reps of the 1-2-reload drill with the SIRT using this target:

Followed by wall drills with my other Glock 19.
I didn't want this thread to turn into a debate on whether dry practice works... I wanted people to post their daily routines to share some ideas. Maybe I should have made the title:
For Those That Have a Daily Dry Practice Routine, What Is It?
