Not cheap but nicest of the Cobra buckle belts I've found. Once you adjust it you can feed it through normal belt loops. Stiff enough for a heavy pistol and mags, maybe not a full rack but pretty close to my two-piece competition belt. I just got back from shooting with a 5" 1911 and three mags, not even through my belt loops and draws were stable and everything was well supported.

Now that you say that, I do recall Tom Gresham interviewing people from Alien Gear Holsters and mentioning Bigfoot Gun Belts as a sister company. I have one and I LOVE it!

I'll have to keep an eye on that; my usual belt is a Cobra-style that's a real pain to remove due to the size of the buckle. It is quite sturdy though. I prefer it over my 'Beltman' belt, which I found to be TOO thick. Same with the "Hank's Amish Belt", but in that case it was thick but not sturdy. I still use the Hank's belt for quick trips if I don't have time to route the Cobra belt through looks.

Since most of my belt loops are smaller, I went with the Trainer. Same thing though, just a 1/4" smaller.
@Saltwater60 What one did you have? How long did it last?
@Podmonkey Funny you say that about carrying concealed. I realized I bought a black belt, which doesn't really bother me most of the time, but the combo of the color and D rings definitely make it stand out a bit. My old belt was brown.
Guess I'll have to buy another belt

I had a great belt from a small company called Calhoun Leather. It must have shrunk over the years because it's too small for me now! I now wear a Bianchi belt I got from Progun in Victor for like 20 bucks as they were closing down.
Damn shrinking belts! I got pants that do that too.

I have a Beltman and a Ritchie leather belt. Both are very good but also expensive. Should last for a long time.

I use a DeSantis Econo belt ($20). 1.5 in wide and thick so that it holds my SR40c in a N8 2 pro holster very securely. I purchased it at Precision Armory near Lake Carmel. Nice looking belt - black leather with black buckle

It seems everyone has their favorites, but, I see some people have issues with the thickness of some of these gun belts. Well, that was an issue with the first couple I bought, both in the 100 dollar range.
Then I ordered the Alien Gear belt and then another. They have a spring steel core which allows for a very firm belt that is NOT to thick AND is flexible....spring steel is flexible. For the price/quality, there isnt much better IMO. Made 100% in the USA.
I had a Hanks belt and another, both very expensive and pretty useless due to bring not very comfortable.
The AG belt is hardly thicker or heavier than a regular belt. You can roll it up tight for storage, most gun belts wont ever roll once. The steel core is everything IMO. Just ssying.

I'll be the 3rd (or maybe the 4th) to praise Hank's Belts. I've been wearing a Hank's belt for almost a year, carrying a Shield with the AlienGear holster. The regular belt I used to wear was flopping over, obvious wear marks, holes deformed, etc - I see none of that with the Hank's belt. Yes, it is .25" leather, but it holds up and still looks presentable in business environments.

Well i got it today. Fast shipping. Very nice belt. I ordered it to shrink into. Only fits 3 holes in comfortably. It is a solid belt. Now if i can remove my love handles...
