That is exactly how my FFL does it. Any receipt that you get from a vendor online is NOT the receipt my pistol permit office honors. You have to get a receipt from your FFL with THEIR FFL # on it to register it. The other receipt from purchase doesn't mean anything in Cortland County.

In Cortland County, in order to take possession of your handgun you must have your coupon and then you have 10 days to return it to the County Clerk. I always take it back ASAP.

I have shot lots of PPU 7.62 x 39, 123g, RNSP and PSP and find their loads pretty sparky. I usually just shoot them up and use the brass and my components to reload my own hot deer loads with Hornady 123g SST's and H4198. That's all I got @Robin.
