It's funny how my normal way of life has some ignorant label on it . Prepping... how the hell does a person go through life unprepared ? Nobody needs to babysit me .
I have an order in,UPS signature required . Ordered some of my favorite IMR,Hodgdon, and VV powder . Also ordered some Shooters World powders, never used them before...price was good so I decided to give them a try.
Thanks for the info everyone, much appreciated.
I have researched this and I am still confused. Sorry if this has been beat to death...if it has can you post a link to my answers please ?
Question: Can I buy smokeless powder on line and have it shipped to my home in NY state(not the city) .
Thanks for any real world help.
I don't enjoy the cold much anymore, but it makes for a long winter if I don't get out to the range...sessions are much shorter, but still feels good getting out there.
I like it too, a new challenge . I am amazed at how I went from a couple .250" five shot groups to an 80 and 74 on the challenge targets in the same session . A whole new game for sure ,much trickier than I thought .
Well, I was all set up before it was daylight in the swamp . I had 39 rounds loaded up in hopes I could get zeroed and have plenty for practice and for an official target . I must say, this bullseye thing has beat me up . I almost always shoot groups ,this is going to take some practice . I tried...
I was quite humbled by it,I had just shot some nice groups...you would never know that by looking at the challenge target,I failed miserably . I will surely give it another try soon ,can't let a piece of paper beat me up.
Well, I was working on a load today that I dialed in pretty well so I stapled up a 100 yd Scoped target to give it a whirl ...First thing I noticed was a 20x scope and my old eyes just could not see those small dots on the top row . Number 2...taking a single shot at a dot is much harder than it...
I hope to get out this week and submit a target...I thinks it's been about a year since I did the challenge. Great excuse to get out and blow some winter stink off.
Ah,I see how it goes...everyone piles on. Good that you will have insight on what to expect . Good luck with it .
Will this affect the events you have scheduled ?
What did the neighbors spend the 25K on ? Did they have to go to court ? Is their saga over ? Sounds like straight up harassment, maybe go on the offensive, sounds like you have nothing to lose if they keep getting away with this crap. Easy for me to say from behind the keyboard, good luck Mike...
That's a beauty ,and great pics too. I have owned Spydercos since they appeared on the market, never been let down. My first Spyderco still lives on,albeit no serrations are still visible.
Thanks for doing this, and congrats to everyone that participated . Looking forward to Aprils challenge . Its nice to have a goal, I shoot by myself 95 perecnt of the time so this gives me something to compare too . I am really digging the pistol, new fun for me.
Thanks for encouragement folks, fun is what it's about for me .My Son is just getting serious about shooting(at age 28) so it has rekindled my love for shooting...having a lot of fun . Pistol shooting is very humbling, but man is it fun.
I am new to pistols, but wanted to record something to track my improvement...hopefully I improve . I printed out 4 targets, first try was my best .My hats off to you pistol shooters, going to take me some practice to shoot near what you folks do. My first shot got me(5), that trigger will take...
Finally got out, warm and sunny . Been a long winter . I usually shoot 5 shot groups, this target was quite a challenge .Nothing like shooting groups ,hard to stay focused for 12 shots . Official entry is a 260 ,I thought I had a 232 until Mike pointed out that there are 28 days in Feb. Not sure...
